Salute e Vaccinazioni: Non sono richieste vaccinazioni obbligatorie per i viaggiatori . Su epidemie riscontrate a livello internazionale, le autorità sanitarie malgasce hanno lo stesso livello di informazione e di reattività rispetto ai loro colleghi esteri. La profilassi anti-malaria e una iniezione di immunoglobuline contro l'epatite sono tuttavia consigliate. Si consiglia inoltre di portare con voi i medicinali di base eventualmente necessari per il vostro soggiorno, rivolgersi al proprio medico di fiducia prima di intraprendere il viaggio per valutare le vaccinazioni. Ospedali e cliniche private si trovano nelle principali città. I villaggi hanno solo i centri sanitari di base, soprattutto dediti alle cure tradizionali locali. Monitorare l'igiene alimentare e bere solo acqua in bottiglia per evitare i vari problemi di intossicazione.

Clima: L'anno si suddivide in due distinte stagioni: estate australe (periodo Novembre/Maggio) caratterizzata da un clima caldo e umido, e l'inverno australe (Giugno/Ottobre) con clima fresco e secco. Tuttavia le stagioni negli altopiani sono differenti da quelle della costa. Il sole splende per tutto l'anno nelle regioni costiere, salvo frequenti piogge nel periodo da Gennaio a Marzo; mentre negli altopiani è soleggiato durante l'estate ed il clima si verifica piuttosto freddo durante l'inverno. Quindi, non dimenticate di portare abiti leggeri durante il soggiorno nelle zone costiere e abiti caldi per il soggiorno nella parte centrale dell'Isola.
Lingua: La lingua ufficiale è il malgascio. Essendo ex colonia della Francia, il francese è la seconda lingua del paese, la maggior parte della popolazione lo parla correttamente. L'inglese inizia ad essere parlato dai giovani.
Valuta: La moneta locale è l'Ariary (1 Euro = 4000 Ariary circa, variabile). È possibile effettuare il cambio della valuta al momento dell'arrivo in aeroporto, presso le banche e negli gli uffici di cambio nelle principali città. Si consiglia di procurarsi per il viaggio la valuta Euro, con cambio e diffusione più favorevole rispetto al dollaro. Alcuni alberghi e ristoranti accettano pagamenti in Euro. I pagamenti con carta di credito sono possibili solo nei migliori Hotel del paese localizzati nelle cittadine principali.
Acquisti: Il mercato artigianale offre una vasta gamma di souvenir . Alcuni articoli (alcuni tipi di legno, pietre..) necessitano di una speciale autorizzazione per l'esportazione, rilasciata dai negozi ove verrà effettuato l'acquisto. Elettricità : Il voltaggio è di 220 V. in quasi tutto il paese. Le prese sono progettate per l'uso di spine bipolari e/o shuko di tipo europeo. Nelle città principali l'energia viene erogata 24 ore su 24, mentre nelle zone più remote è ancora difficile avere questo servizio: molte strutture alberghiere infatti utilizzano dei generatori. Sono frequenti le interruzioni di corrente elettrica generali. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal Data obtained through registration, by automated or non-automated means, are incorporated into an application owned by COTUR. COTUR employees access information in files with password-protected access, the record of which is documented. Changes to existing data in the files are possible with a record of the date of the person responsible for the change. Personal Data are processed with the legally required level of protection to ensure their security and to prevent their alteration, loss, treatment, or unauthorized access, taking into account the state of the technology. The CLIENT is aware of and accepts that Internet security measures are not impregnable. Credit card data is used only for payment processing, and after the transaction is completed, it is deleted from our records, except when the CLIENT has authorized us to retain it. For security reasons applicable in certain countries, it is mandatory to include information regarding data such as name, passport number, gender, age, nationality in flight reservations. This information contained in the reservation may, under applicable law, namely based on Directive (EU) 2016/680 of the European Parliament and of the Council, be accessed by the competent authorities of the countries of origin or destination, for the purposes of prevention, investigation, detection, or repression of criminal offenses or the enforcement of criminal sanctions, and the free movement of such data and Directive (EU) 2016/681 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
COTUR accessing any personal data, undertakes to:
• Protect CLIENTS' personal data through legally required security measures of a technical and organizational nature in order to prevent alteration, loss, treatment, or unauthorized access, in accordance with the state of the technology at any given time, the nature of the data, and the possible risks they are exposed to;
• Use or apply the data exclusively for the purposes duly provided;
• Ensure that the data are used only for the provision of the service, being obliged to maintain the duty of confidentiality. (vii) Advertising, promotion, and commercial prospecting activities, if duly authorized and consented to by the User;
(viii) Sending survey forms to which the user is not obliged to respond;

The user may consent to COTUR processing their Personal Data for the purpose of determining their profile and offering them suitable products and services. These services may be COTUR's own or third-party services.
(i) National and international competent authorities in tourism, terrorism, or offenses that violate human rights;
(ii) Any legal entity subsidiary or participated by COTUR or the company that provided the contracted service (hotels, water, land, rail, air transportation company, rental, etc.), so that they can use them for the correct provision of each service requested by the CLIENT.On the other hand, the CLIENT consents to access the information related to the service contracted with COTUR in order to offer additional services to the one contracted. Failure to respond to the data, considered mandatory, will imply the impossibility of accessing the service for which the data were requested. COTUR may disclose CLIENT information to third parties solely for the purpose of completing the requested reservation and for administrative reasons in accordance with the legislation in force for the realization of trips / services to certain countries.
