About the destination: Paris, situated on the river Seine, is the capital and largest city in France. About the destination: Monaco evokes luxury and glamour. This small country, the world’s second smallest in fact, has a big personality. Its privileged geographical location on the French Riviera makes it a gem of a city. The oldest part of the city is known as the Rock. The Rock houses the National Council, the parliament of the Principality of Monaco, and the Prince’s Palace. The Palace is a major touristic attraction, even though from the outside there is nothing to suggest it is the home of the Royal Family. Its values resides on the inside, where magnificent rooms are filled with an impressive artistic assortment. Get there at 11.55am for the daily changing of the guard. The most acclaimed part of the city is Monte Carlo, with its majestic Casino. For visitors wishing to bask in some Monaco glitz, there are big annual events such as the Tennis Masters Series in April and the Formula 1 Grand Prix in May. About the destination: San Marino, officially the most Serene Republic of San Marino (in Italian: Serenissima Repubblica di San Marino), is a Constitutional Republic and the oldest sovereign State in the world. It is an enclave surrounded by Italian territory, between Emilia Romagna and brands. It contains Mount Titano, 739 metres, and is only 10 kilometres from the Adriatic Sea, although the country has no outlet to the sea. It is one of the European microstates. Since tourism represents more than 50 of the economy, the Government has abolished taxes and customs duties, except for the sale of coins and stamps. In addition the Italian Government gives to San Marino an annual budget after the basic treaty signed by both parties.
